First things first, it appears that poptb.com is gone and so has the free version of populous the beginning that it hosted, which is a real shame since it was packaged in a neat little installer (27MB) along with the match maker to produce arguably the best version of the game. if anyone has the file and wishes to continue hosting it again then we would all be very appreciative.
It's not all bad news though, some time ago Cyan re-opened their account creation for URU live, this means that those who originally could not play the game can now create an account and explore this peaceful gem.
