GOG

Seriously, if you are not using GOG, get it. They give away free games every now and then I have gotten: saints row 2, mount and blade. They also gave away the witcher enhanced for free (missed that one though). The time you can get them though can vary quite a bit from half a day to a couple of days. You keep the games once they are no longer available for free and you can download them at anytime once you have got it. Pretty good, eh?

Buying games on there can have advantages too as all of the games on there are DRM free. This means you buy it, you keep it forever. You can copy it around and back it up. And there are no checks, which means that you don't have to have any clients like steam installed. You essentially get the freedom of a game that you would get on disk, except you don't need the disk.

Downwell

Downwell is a roguelite falling platformer thing. Small, cheap and definitely fun. This game has a sort of odd charm and unique art style. Challenging too, If you haven't heard of it I suggest checking it out.

Shadow Warrior Classic Redux

Shadow Warrior Classic Redux

Just yesterday I looked on google play and went to devolver's games and there it was Shadow Warrior Classic. Bout time they ported that to android(Still think it looks like beloko's version from ages ago).Works really well. Touch controls and this game take a lot of getting used to since you move so quickly. But either way I'm glad they finally brought out this classic on android.

This is a very beautiful, peaceful open word game. It is however very demanding. Even so this game shows amazing spectacular design. Controls take a bit of getting used to but are well though out and makes moving around feel fluid.
This game has a small strange story. Still a good story though.
I recommend this game to casual gamers and people who like adventure games.

Nuclear Throne

Nuclear Throne

This game is a top down shooter set in a post apocalyptic wasteland. You start off with two different mutants that you can play as. The objective is to get to the end of the level, this happens when you enter a portal which opens after defeating all enemies. You collect radiation (rads) this is dropped by enemies and acts as a sort of experience. When you next enter a portal after having levelled up you can select a mutation which will help you and keep on the rest of your journey, until you die that is.

When you start playing this game you will die a lot, but still this game keeps the feeling of reward. The majority of the weapons feel good to shoot and the weapons that you find will constantly change. All of the levels are randomly generated. There are a lot of unlockables. These factors mean that each run that you do is unique and unpredictable.

I really like this game and is deffinitely worth getting if you want a lightweight game that will last you a long time.

LaserArena, Zenith

LaserArena

This is a game that was a laser tag game released in 2000 and uses the quake engine, sadly though, I cannot get tit to run with source ports. It is however free, so that's good. For the graphics this game takes inspiration from Tron. This game is meant for multiplayer, but has some decent bots for singleplayer.

Here is their website, you can download the game. [Here]

Zenith

This is a strange game, it's a recreation of an old game called sentinel. It feels more like a board game than anything else. It will run on basically every computer that runs windows that's not a toaster. Once again another free game, good for those who just want to relax. The website that this game can be downloaded from can be found. [Here]
